The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
